About
From a very young age Robin Lindala began his lifelong journey with photography. He fell in love with the art of storytelling through images and, once he picked up a camera, developed a deep passion for shape, form, space, lighting, and composition.
After studying Fine Art Photography at Fanshawe College and graduating at the top of his class (just don’t ask his classmates), Robin continued to compose, shoot, and capture photographic images and filmic sequences across feature films and television.
His calm demeanour and definitive communication style create an efficient, comfortable working environment for entire production crews. As Director of Photography he inspires crews and motivates casts with principled leadership, diplomacy, and a unique sense of humour — always serving the director’s vision.
For more than twenty years he has contributed an accomplished body of work in camera departments worldwide. He currently resides in Vancouver, Canada — although his neighbours wish he didn’t.
